The Implosion of Trump Plaza for Charity
Atlantic City has been an entertainment destination for residents all along the East Coast, and as a tourist attraction, this place has built a unique and diverse history. As the city continues to develop into the 21st century, room must be made for new and exciting businesses and community endeavors. That is why, after 36 years, Atlantic City has decided to implode the old Trump Plaza.
Completed in 1984, Trump Plaza was long considered an ideal hotel and casino to spend time relaxing along the Jersey Shore. With state-of-the-art accommodations for its time, the Trump Plaza was a beacon of prosperity and the American dream. Yet, in recent years the Trump Plaza has remained vacant and in a state of disrepair. All good things must come to an end, and so Atlantic City has decided to go ahead with the demolition of this icon of the 1980s.
